President
As President of S+S Industries, since 1985, George has been involved in the design and installation of the company’s plating processes, as well as working with customers in developing specialized electroplating applications for their unique requirements. He has been instrumental in the strategic growth of the company by creating a culture that listens to clients and then goes above and beyond to service their needs. His service nature has also led to the development of advanced technologies, corporate acquisitions, added value and services for our clients, as well as the continuous mentoring of the entire S+S Industries team. George has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and is a Certified Electro Finisher (CEF).
Vice President
As Vice President of S+S Industries, Greg is responsible for Sales and Operations. He began his career with the company at a young age, and through his dedicated work ethic and mentorship of George Andrews, Greg has an unparalleled knowledge of all aspects of the business. Greg’s focus on understanding the client’s needs and commitment to operational excellence has developed long-lasting relationships that have been instrumental to the growth of the company. He is most passionate about building the right team with a family environment which ultimately creates the culture of S+S Industries. Additionally, he is an active member of Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA), American Petroleum Institute (API), Copper & Brass Service Centers Association, and Texas Association of Metal Finishers.
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Brady oversees the day to day operations of all S+S Industries facilities. He works closely with the sales staff to understand the needs of the client and then works to exceed customer expectations. Bottom line, Brady gets the job done. Brady, along with the great employees that work with him, carry a pride in the job that they do at S+S Industries which shows in the work they produce. Brady graduated from UT Austin in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He is currently the Treasurer of the Texas Association of Metal Finishers.
Sales/Operations Manager
Jeff joined the company in November of 2014 as the Sales/Operations Manager. His focus is on driving sales growth and creating operational excellence. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in Sales, Business Development and Management. His leadership skills help him guide diverse teams to achieve common goals, drive business development and innovate through strategic thinking. Jeff is relentless toward continuous improvement and doing his personal best to make S+S Industries better today than they were yesterday. He has been recognized with multiple awards for sales success, top performance, business retention, and delivering value to clients. Jeff received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is an active member of Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) and American Petroleum Institute (API).
Financial Controller
Nicole is a driven accounting professional with 15+ years’ experience as a Financial Controller.
Her role at S + S Industries is to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations. Nicole is a Michigan native and received her BBA in Accounting from Northwood University.
Assistant Business Manager
Imelda oversees the customer service team and works closely with the Vice President to provide financial support and assist with the development of new projects and processes. Imelda’s efficiency, creativity, 10+ years of experience in customer service, and deep knowledge of customer relations have made her the VP’s “right-hand woman” since 2018.
Plant Manager
Jose began his career at S&S Plating in 1984 as a Plater and his working knowledge has proven invaluable in helping the management team to develop new projects and processes. Jose was promoted to Plant Manager in 1998 and is responsible for directing the shift production, including managing the supervisors and workforce to produce quality and on-time products.
Human Resources Manager
As Human Resources Manager, Kimberly has been instrumental in conveying the ownership’s commitment to the employees of S+S Industries. Kimberly is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as serving in the community through Epsilon Sigma Alpha and a 20 year Girl Scout Troop Leader.
Payroll Specialist/HR Assistant
In her role as Payroll Specialist/HR Assistant, Melissa is responsible for ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Her energy and commitment to employee satisfaction are invaluable assets to S+S, as is the fact that she is bilingual.
Production Manager
As Production Manager, John is responsible for exceeding production targets, operational efficiency, and employee safety across all production lines. Unlike many production managers, John stays in contact with clients to ensure that our production meets their needs and overall requirements. He also excels at overcoming any challenges within production as they come up and has proven himself as an expert problem solver.
Quality Manager
Terry is a proud United States Navy Veteran whose previous experience includes working for Boeing NASA Systems on the International Space Station program and the Space Shuttle Return to Flight operations. In addition to membership of several API committees, Terry serves as Chairman for the API 20P committee. Terry’s commitment to quality is the driving force behind S+S Industries goal to meet increasing quality requirements.
Quality Manager
Jonah is entrusted with implementing and executing inspections, testing, and evaluation of methods to ensure that products adhere closely to S+S standards and customers’ requirements. With over 25 years of experience in the oil industry, he’s highly knowledgeable in maintaining and assembling both offshore and service land equipment.
Director Electrical & PowerGen
As director, David drives S+S Industries’ operations in the electrical power distribution and power generation markets. He is also instrumental in furthering our commitment to value-added support for customers’ electrical products. David has an incredible 40 years’ experience in the metal distribution industry.
Production Manager
Kevin oversees production and coordinates day-to-day activities to ensure all work is produced safely, cost-effectively, and on time to meet customer requirements and specifications. He is NACE certified and well-known on the Management Team for his uncompromising, albeit effective, “take no prisoners” mentality.
Production Manager
Daniel handles numerous tasks at S+S, including overseeing the zinc departments, training and certifying our forklift operators, and training new hires. Daniel has been with S+S since 2013 and has originated several process improvements during his tenure. He is also bilingual and trained in CPR.
Materials Manager
As Materials Manager, Carlos oversees S+S’ shipping and receiving and copper and aluminum products inventory. His industry experience spans 11 years and includes time in warehousing and production. Carlos enjoys spending quality time with his wife, four daughters, and two grandkids, and rooting for Houston’s sports teams.
Customer Quotation Specialist
Julie encapsulates the S+S commitment to customer satisfaction. As Senior Customer Service Representative, she is customers’ go-to source for quotes, pricing, questions, and more. Julie is also an advocate for Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston (MSRH), dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused, and unwanted miniature schnauzers.
